Seems like IKEA are really shaking things up this year. In addition to the previously announced TV set, they’re also going to release a digital camera made of cardboard called Knäppa (“Snap”). It’ll hold 40 photographs at a time and plugs directly into your USB port. While it’s not the prettiest camera the world has ever seen, I do love the idea of a screen-less digital camera that brings people back to the wait-and-see days of film.

Zoom So glad I stumbled upon this idea. It’s a Picture frame weekly calendar. You can purchase cheap frames from Walmart or the Dollar tree (Or you can get as fancy as you’d like and go to Michael’s). Fill the frame with scrapbook style pictures and layout, write the day of the week at the top and write your weekly plans on the glass with a dry erase marker. Ingenious.

Zoom Okay I know Spring only started a week or so ago but these Watermelon Mimosas just made me SUPER excited for summer. Can’t wait for all the drinks and sweets I’m trying this summer! Ingredients: 1 quarter of a large watermelon, about 5 cups cut in small pieces Juice from 6 oranges, about 2 cups juice 1 bottle of chilled champagne, cava, prosecco or other sparkling wine Sugar to taste, based on sweetness of the fruit Mint to garnish Blend the watermelon chunks with the orange juice and sugar to taste until you have a smooth pure, strain if needed. Chill the watermelon orange mix in the refrigerator until ready to prepare the drinks. Pour the watermelon orange mix into champagne flutes, about half full. Add the champagne or other sparkling wine, pouring it gently to avoid from making a bubbly mess.
